NHS Community Wheelchair Service for North Yorkshire and York

We provide the community wheelchair service on behalf of the NHS for residents of North Yorkshire and York. We provide all NHS wheelchair services and loan equipment to residents who meet the eligibility criteria, including:

• Clinical assessments
• Specialist seating
• Personal Wheelchair Budgets
• Repairs and maintenance
• Collection when the wheelchair is no longer required

This service is available to residents registered with a GP in these areas:

• City of York
• Vale of York
• Harrogate and Rural District 
• Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby
• Scarborough and Ryedale
